FAQ Claris Email Support
  • Run Claris Emailer by double clicking the program icon.
  • Go to the Setup pull-down menu and choose Internet Setup.

  • You will see the following screen.

  • Enter the following information:
  • Account Name - Enter your username in all lower case.
  • User Name - Enter your username which can be the same as the Account Name
  • Email Address - Enter your email address like: username@yourdomain.com.
  • Email Account - Enter your email account like: username@yourdomain.com.
  • Email Password - Enter your password.
  • SMTP host - Enter your ISP's Smtp-server.
  • Click Save.

Checking Mail

  • Go to your Mail/Connect Now menu.

  • You will see the following screen.

  • Click Connect to have Claris Emailer retrieve your mail. When it does, you will see the following screen.

  • To read a message, simply double click the one you want to read.

Sending Mail

  • Go to the Mail/New pull-down menu.
  • You will see the following screen.

  • Type the subject of your message in the Subject field located at the top of the screen.
  • Fill in the Recipient field with the name of the person you wish to email.
  • Enter the email address of the person you wish to email in the Address field.
  • Write your message in the large space provided.
  • When done, click the Send Now button at the top of the screen.
